PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

1. Acknowledgement of Risks:

   I acknowledge that participation in a painting activity involves certain risks, including but not limited to: use of art materials such as paints, brushes, canvases, water, and aprons; possible spills, stains, or damage to clothing or personal property; risk of slips, falls, allergic reactions, or other minor injuries; and the presence in a public venue where food and beverages may be served. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this activity.

2. Release of Liability:

   In consideration of being permitted to participate in the workshop, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Little Masterpieces by Ranna Matteen, its instructors, employees, and representatives; together with the venue hosting the event, its owners, employees, and representatives, from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action, including but not limited to those arising from negligence (except gross negligence or willful misconduct).

3. Medical Authorization:

   I certify that I am physically able to participate in this activity. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Little Masterpieces staff and/or venue staff to obtain necessary medical treatment on my behalf. I assume full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.

4. Personal Property:

   I understand that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings, including clothing, electronics, and valuables. Neither Little Masterpieces nor the venue shall be responsible for loss, theft, or damage.

5. Alcohol Service (if applicable):

   I acknowledge that if alcoholic beverages are served, I must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol. The venue reserves the right to check ID and refuse service in accordance with applicable laws. I agree to drink responsibly and hold the event hosts and venue harmless for any consequences arising from alcohol consumption.

6. Minor Participants:

   If under 18, this waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian who assumes responsibility for the minor’s participation.

7. Governing Law:

   This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.

9. Payment Policy:

• Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.

• Ticket prices include all painting supplies, guided instruction, and one beverage from the selected menu (when offered).

• A small processing fee will be applied to each ticket purchase.

• Registration is complete only once payment has been received.

  
  

10. Cancellation & Transfer Policy:

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Guests who provide at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice prior to the scheduled event may request to transfer their ticket to a future Little Masterpieces event, subject to availability and at the sole discretion of Little Masterpieces. Transfers may apply to any event hosted by Little Masterpieces, regardless of venue. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be granted for no-shows or cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of the event.

In the event that a venue or Little Masterpieces must reschedule or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, registered guests will be offered the option to transfer to a future event of equal value.

11. Acknowledgement & Signature:

I have read and fully understand this Participant Waiver & Release of Liability Agreement. I voluntarily sign it and agree to its terms as a condition of participation.
